The Role: Legal Counsel
This is a fantastic developmental role for a qualified lawyer (GDL, LPC or equivalent) with PQE in private practice or in-house. You will join a supportive, dynamic legal team and work closely with the Deputy General Counsel to build your confidence and capabilities in a variety of legal areas. The scope of work will range from administrative legal tasks to moderately complex matters, giving you a well-rounded experience in an exciting, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and escalate complex matters to the Deputy General Counsel.
- Support with corporate secretarial work—manage records, liaise with external providers.
- Assist with compliance activities, including internal audits, regulatory filings, and governance documents.
- Help maintain and improve contract management processes and legal templates.
- Support document repository management and data room maintenance.
- Conduct legal research and summarise findings.
- Assist with policies and procedures (e.g., anti-bribery, GDPR, whistleblowing).
- Participate in review and completion of business-as-usual contracts.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and a legal qualification (GDL, LPC, or similar).
- Qualified Lawyer with PQE in private practice or in-house.
- Exposure to contract management and data protection matters is advantageous.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information.
